2023-12: Chocolate ice cream/초코아이스크림.
🇺🇸 For an unknown reason, the example I most frequently use when talking about desire/inspiration is the one of chocolate ice cream: when we want to eat chocolate ice cream, do we decide to want to eat it?
No. All we can do, when inspiration strikes, is to accept or reject.
This month, I covered where such inspiration comes from, within the Storyteller’s Eye worldview. And I am so glad I accepted the inspiration for this worldview. Everything I love about writing is starting to appear in my own life. Next year, I will have more externally observable “in practice, in practice” stories to share. (I find that it’s nice to hear these 'This worked' stories.)
I hope that in 2023, The Storyteller’s Eye brought you the beginning of a worldview you might consider. And I hope that in 2024, you adopt/develop whichever worldview that suits you best.

아닙니다. 영감이 찾아오면 우리가 할 수 있는 거라고는 받아들이거나 거부하는 것뿐입니다.
이번 달에는 '이야기꾼의 눈' 세계관 내에서 그러한 영감이 어디서 오는지를 다뤘습니다. 그리고 저는 이 세계관에 대한 영감을 받아들인 게 무척 흡족합니다. 제가 글쓰기에서 사랑하는 모든 것이 제 삶에서 나타나기 시작했거든요. 내년에는 외부적으로 관찰 가능한 “실전 중 실전” 이야기를 좀 더 많이 공유할 겁니다. (저는 ‘이런 게 통했다’는 이야기를 듣는 게 좋더라고요. )
2023년에 ‘이야기꾼의 눈’이 그대가 고려할 만한 세계관의 시작을 보여주었길 바랍니다. 그리고 2024년에는 그대에게 알맞은 세계관이 무엇이든, 그것을 택하고 발전시키는 한 해가 되시기를 바랍니다.
