2024-05: Time Capsule/타임 캡슐.

🇺🇸 A reminder to myself:

As of late May, I already have what I claim to “want in the future.”

For example, “I am happy with S” is a statement that I desire to be true in the future as well as in the present. But the future is the present in the POV, because everything in the POV happens now.

Therefore, as I focus on the “fact” (which is “real” because I say so) that “I am happy with S” right now in the present, I take it into the future, making it a “fact” then as well. The future is only a now that comes “later” in the illusion that is called “the timeline.”

(All of this month’s posts are here. The private posts are shorter this month. Perhaps more condensed. Making them longer and more “understandable” will not add to any understanding.)

🇰🇷 내가 기억했으면 하는 것:

5월 말 현재, 나는 내가 ‘미래에 원한다’고 주장하는 것을 이미 갖고 있다.

이를테면, ‘나는 S와 행복하다’는 내가 미래에도, 현재에도 진실이기를 바라는 문장이다. 하지만 시점 속에서 미래는 곧 현재다. 왜냐하면 시점의 모든 것은 지금 벌어지기 때문이다.

따라서, 바로 지금 현재에 ‘나는 S와 행복하다’는 ‘사실’에 내가 집중할 때 (사실이란 내가 ‘진짜’라고 하기에 사실이다), 나는 그 문장을 미래로 데려감으로써 그것을 그때에도 ‘사실’이게끔 한다. 미래는 그저 ‘타임라인’이라는 환상에서 ‘나중에’ 등장하는 현재 중 하나일 뿐이다.
