🇺🇸 Took the KTX from Seoul Station to Busan Station.

🇰🇷 KTX 타고 서울역에서 부산역까지 감.

🇺🇸 Seoul Station in the morning 😄 Quite a few fat pigeons navigated amongst humans indoors.

🇰🇷 아침의 서울역! 뚱띠 비둘기들이 실내에서 사람들 사이를 누빔.

🇺🇸 Many trains. The seats.

These are the regular-class seats. For a 3-hour train ride, I think these are comfortable enough. Besides, the seats are rarely full. I rode without anybody sitting next to me.

🇰🇷 기차 많음. 그리고 좌석들.

일반석임. 3시간 여행에 이 정도면 충분히 안락하다고 봄. 게다가 좌석이 꽉 찬 걸 본 적이 없는 듯. 이번에도 옆사람 없이 감.

🇰🇷 부산역. 에어비앤비 숙소가 있는 동네로 향하는 길.

🇺🇸 The view from Millac the Market—a relatively new shopping place with various restaurants, clothing stores, and cafes.

🇰🇷 꽤 최근에 생겼다는 밀락더마켓에서의 뷰. 민락동에 있길래 민락더마켓인 줄 알았더니, 아니라고 한다. ‘밀락’이라고 한다. 민락을 힘들게 발음하려는 대신에 Millac으로 한 것이 쿨하다고 생각… MinLak 혹은 MinRak에서는 많은 외국인들이 망설였겠지만, Millac은 훨씬 쉬울 것 같고, 이곳 분위기랑도 잘 어울리는 거 같으다.

🇺🇸 The raw fish set from Millac Fishery! So well-packaged! Nothing spilled. Everything was kept cool.

This was the smallest portion I could get. Hehehe. I couldn’t finish it the whole set, so I kept the egg rolls for breakfast the next morning.

+the view from the Airbnb place. It was right next to Millac the Market, which was excellent. And it was in a quiet corner of the Gwang-An-Li beach, which was also excellent.

+A book that ORCABOOKS published recently. I don’t think there’s an official English title, but it means “The (Invisible) Collaborators.” I read it while in Busan.

🇰🇷 밀락 피셔리에서 산 회 세트! 포장이 아주 잘 되어 있다! 아무것도 새지 않았고, 신선한 상태를 유지했다.

이게 구매할 수 있는 가장 작은 세트였다 이 말이지… 전체를 남김없이 먹을 순 없었기에, 달걀 든 롤은 다음날 아침식사용으로 남겨둠.

+에어비앤비 숙소에서의 뷰. 밀락더마켓팔바로 옆이었어서 완전 좋았다. 또한 광안리 해변의 조용한 구석에 있었어서 좋기도 했다.

+범고래출판사에서 최근에 낸 책. “(보이지 않는) 협력자들.” 부산에 있는 동안 읽었다.

🇺🇸 Gwang-An-Li Beach at night. Spring/Fall/Winter are much better times to go to any beach, compared to Summer. The beach was comfortably quiet.

🇰🇷 밤의 광안리 해변. 봄/가을/겨울이 여름보다 바다에 가기에 훨씬 좋은 시기다. 해변이 고즈넉하니 좋았다.
